• Kindfulness cultivates lifelong social, emotional, and ecological learning (SEEL) through research and evidence-based techniques that teach students how to take care of themselves, their communities, and their environments.
     
  • The Kindfulness Curriculum consists of: 
    • Weekly lessons (15-30 minutes) 
    • Daily routine (5-10 minutes)
       
  • All lessons utilize the Understanding by Design® Framework
  • Two options ensure developmental appropriateness:
    • Grades K-2 track
    • Grades 3-5 track
       
  •  Each lesson aligns to learning standards for: 
  • Some examples of mindfulness and SEEL skills include:
    • awareness, accountability, resilience, respect, empathy
       
  • These skills allow students to:
    • navigate their emotions
    • maintain healthy relationships
    • make wise decisions they're proud of
    • perform well in academics/extracurriculars
       
  • Student development of mindfulness and SEEL skills allows teachers to:
    • spend less time resolving behavioral issues and more time teaching
    • experience a focused classroom of students who are ready to learn
    • meet Common Core standards in creative and engaging ways
    • experience less stress and more joy during the school day
